HOW IS THIS COURSE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER LANTEC LEADERSHIP CLASSES?
This course is intended to spring load your management team toward deeper thought and action by identifying the “WHYs” for themselves as individuals as well as those driving values behind their respective organizations. Participants will create a Leadership Development Plan and learn how to model and inspire accountability. Due to some commonality with our LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR SUPERVISORS and INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES, it is advised that students who have already taken one/both of those courses NOT participate in Leadership 101. This new hybrid course aims to make the most of two set-aside training days by giving both emerging and senior leaders the high points of several valuable managerial topics in one solidly-packed delivery. *There will be homework/reflection exercises assigned between day one and day two.
MORE INFO:
This workshop will be added to our public schedule and is available for PRIVATE deliveries as well. As a public offering, it will be 2 consecutive days. If private/onsite, we’ll consider separating the days if requested. This course is relevant for team leads to attend together (as a mini-retreat) or with other companies. LANTEC’s management team completed it in February 2020. and found the material and the interaction invaluable. *this material is a shorter variation of what the US Navy has purchased for their emerging leaders worldwide.
