Enrollment & Attendance

  • Are there any prerequisites for this class?

Course prerequisites (if any) can be found on the course outlines section of our website (use the convenient SEARCH bar on the left to drill down to a specific title) or your LANTEC Account Executive can assist in ensuring you are adequately prepared for success in your class.
  • How can I enroll in a class?

Enrolling is simple, your LANTEC Account Executive will take care of every detail. Contact them via the facility nearest you: Baton RougeLafayette, or New Orleans and we can put you in touch with your designated AE. If you prefer to request a seat via email, please direct your course inquiry Here for immediate attention.
  • How do I get my class completion certificate?

You can click on COURSE CERTIFICATES from the top menu bar of any page on our site and follow the detailed instructions from there. If you experience any difficulty, just give us a call at (225) 293-0656 or (337) 233-2016 for personal assistance.

  • What do I need to bring?

All you need is yourself! We recommend you bring something to take notes with, a sweater if you get chilly and some cash if you would like to sample our well-stocked snack machines. We will have your courseware ready and waiting for you when you sign in for class.
  • What is the next available date?

Visit our Class Schedule page. We try our best to accommodate all of your training needs, if you do not see a viable date, contact your LANTEC Account Executive for availability and scheduling options.
  • What is "virtual" or "vILT training"?

Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) means your course will be delivered via a virtual online meeting platform such as Zoom or Teams. vILT offers the benefits of a live and familiar LANTEC instructor in the safety and convenience of your personal office or home.  A computer with high-speed internet connection and quality audio and video capabilities (webcam) is required, and dual monitors (or laptop + tablet/mobile device) are recommended for the best training experience.

Headphone with microphone attachment are preferred by some students over the PC speakers and a dial-in number will be made available for audio-only option as well.  *Please note Google Chrome or Firefox are the required web browsers for this class.

If you normally connect to the internet via your company VPN, it is advised you use a LOCAL web browser for your vILT training. All login instructions will be sent at least 5 days prior to training date to the registered student’s email address.

**We encourage you to test settings before class and login 15 minutes before class time**

If you require assistance with any connectivity issues, our vILT help desk team is standing by 30 minutes prior to each class ready to provide support.  Please reach out to vilthelpdesk@lantecctc.com or call us at 337-233-2016 or 225-293-0656.
