Lori Taylor

Joining our New Orleans team in 2019, Lori brings more than 24 years of educational leadership and human resource experience. Prior to joining LANTEC,
she developed the launch plan needed to open one of the five Louisiana Quick Start Schools following Hurricane Katrina. She was a Featured Principal
on CNN Special “Reclaiming the Dream”: Innovative Education for Minority Students in an Urban Setting. In her most recent position as Executive Director
of Human Resources, she implemented human resources programs and policies based on the needs of the organization, compiled and presented human resources
metrics to the Board to aid in decision-making, implemented an online recruitment and hiring protocol with a focus on attracting highly qualified candidates,
and developed a network wide return to work and safety management program.
Lori is competent in a variety of professional development and applications topics including Leadership Skills, Conflict Resolution, Effective Business Writing, Coaching and Mentoring, Interpersonal Communications, Interview Skills, Active Shooter Mitigation, and Stress Management. She strives to offer a hands-on approach to professional development where each participant leaves energized with a viable plan for action. She is passionate about helping others reach their full potential by sharing her knowledge and experiences, and creating a fun, exciting learning environment.
