With her extensive experience in public school education and human resources, Secret brings a unique and valuable perspective to her deliveries. She's passionate about creating data-driven lessons that resonate with workshop participants and is dedicated to helping them succeed in their professional and personal growth. Her engaging personality and expertise in coaching, training, new employee orientation, and education make her an excellent fit on our team as a Professional Development instructor. Before her career as a teacher, Secret worked as a Human Resource Expert at Target Corporation, overseeing more than 200 employees. She also served as a Student Success Coach at City Year Baton Rouge, focusing on improving student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.

Secret holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Leadership and Development from Louisiana State University. She's also a member of the Lambda Pi Eta National Honor Society of National Communication Association. In the summer of 2023, Secret was accepted to LSU's Masters’ Program in Curriculum and Instruction. She is thrilled to pursue her advanced degree to continue to pour her new knowledge into others. She earned certification in Diversity & Inclusion from HRCI in August 2024, furthering her commitment to assessing and retaining diverse talent pools amongst employers seeking improvement in this area.

Secret excels in leading Professional Development courses focused on team building, communication techniques, positive workplace culture, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She's committed to positively impacting the lives of LANTEC students and is an incredible asset to our team.
