Laura is a highly accomplished professional facilitator with an inspiring educational background and extensive management experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans. With over 20 years of operational and managerial experience, Laura has honed her skills and knowledge in various leadership roles from retail to the manufacturing/energy sector. 

Prior to joining our team in 2024, Laura served as the Director of Human Resources at a prominent renewable energy company, where she played a key role in shaping the company's workforce and organizational culture. Her keen understanding of human resources, team-building and leadership strategy makes her a valuable addition to our professional development delivery team.  

Additionally, Laura‚Äôs real-world understanding of the Microsoft Office productivity suite and project management expertise make her a natural for relating software features and practical applicability to LANTEC students. With a recent credential of Society for Human Resources-Senior Certified Professional certification under her belt, Laura proves her commitment to both ongoing education and sound execution of effective policy and procedures.

Laura is eager to share her wealth of knowledge and relatable corporate experiences with LANTEC clients near and far, and we are excited to welcome her as an instructor. Her passion for mentorship and personal/professional development will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of both private industry and governmental entities we support. 

I absolutely loved this course! The concepts that were introduced and presented were fantastic! The trainer did an excellent job of making the course fun and engaging. Along with explaining the material very well and relatable. This was one of the best courses I have taken!
