Chas Womelsdorf

A 2022 addition to the LANTEC instructional team, Chas brings 20 years of experience as a college professor and communication researcher with an extensive dramatic arts background. He has coached state and national-level championship teams and individuals as a Speech & Debate coach for Louisiana State University, the University of Alabama, and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

His expertise in Rhetoric, Performance, and Leadership Communication lends itself well to the techniques Chas uses to facilitate his workshops, earning him very high evaluation scores from not only our public participants but our government clients as well.

Chas understands the transformative power of team building and self-leadership. He is adept at evaluating presentations, coaching techniques, and using argumentative structures to foster collaboration, negotiation/persuasive skills, creativity, and problem-solving techniques.

Chas has a knack for analyzing his audience and adapting the discussion to meet participants where they are. He loves reaching for big ideas and bringing them down to earth, and he’s passionate about helping people find an actionable path to their best personal and professional selves. His attendees often comment that he is extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and passionate about the topics of his deliveries while using realistic examples to drive home points while he models the concepts he delivers.
