How does our PM Basic/Int/Adv differ form PMP Prep?

Our PD schedule courses (3 titles at 8 hours each) introduce newcomers to the PM discipline and to terminology and processes; these would be considered PRE-REQs for pursuit of the certification credential if a candidate has no experience on a project team. Microsoft Project (a software tool) is also helpful to this discipline but not mandatory. (Some use Primavera or other similar tools for same functionality)

Unlike our standard “tech” offerings, this course is 100% process-oriented and practice tests (to gauge readiness for certification credentialing). It does NOT use computers at all in the delivery. Significant class time is spent preparing the candidate's packet to submit to PMI for permission to test.
