Course Description:
This three-day instructor-led course introduces SharePoint Online administration in Microsoft 365 and demonstrates the platform’s configuration and management options. Students explore SharePoint Online architecture, administration tools, site collections, user profiles, data connections, taxonomy, search, apps, enterprise content management, security, compliance, and additional tenant options. The course also highlights key differences between SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:
- Describe SharePoint Online architecture and administration components.
- Navigate Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration tools.
- Manage site collections, storage, sharing, and recovery.
- Configure user profiles, audiences, and profile policies.
- Understand data connections and integration with Power Platform services.
- Build and manage a taxonomy using the term store.
- Configure SharePoint search, apps, and app catalogs.
- Manage enterprise content, records, eDiscovery, labels, and data loss prevention.
- Configure OneDrive, Information Rights Management, access control, and release options.
