Louisiana Notary Exam Power Prep Workshop
Course Description:
Louisiana Notary Exam Power Prep is a 1-day accelerated learning experience that will provide:
- Scenario-based instructional guidance on major notary topics
- Personalized study strategies
- Practice exam simulation with scoring and recommendations for additional self-study
Participants will power up preparation to ensure confidence on exam day.
The ideal learners for this course are:
- Re-testers looking to improve their score results
- First time exam candidates with previous training course participation
- Self-study examinees
- Industry professionals who frequently interact with notary services and would like to gain understanding of notarial practices or get a head start on their own preparation
- Less-engaged notaries seeking a refresher to remain up to date with notarial law
Prerequisites for Participation (Fees apply OUTSIDE the scope of this tuition):
These prerequisites ensure that all participants are prepared to engage fully with the material and maximize their in-person learning experience.
- Application Qualification: Participants must have completed and submitted the notary public application and meet all qualification requirements for Louisiana. ($35)
- Comprehension Assessment: A preliminary comprehension assessment must be completed by the posted deadline at LA Secretary of State website AFTER your have applied for qualification and been notified of approval. ($30)
- Study Guide (for participants who plan to test): Participants are required to supply their own current Notary Study Guide, which will be referenced throughout the course. Refer to hyperlink above to secure your materials. ($100)
Materials Needed:
- Fine Point Ink Pens for annotating and organizing key concepts
- Highlighter(s) to mark up important information in your study guide
- Permanent tabs for easy reference and organization of your study guide (Recommended, but not required)
- Sharpened #2 pencils for test simulation
