Audience:
Experienced Citrix administrators and engineers responsible for advanced deployment, scalability, redundancy, Workspace Environment Management, App Layering, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Prerequisites:
Strong Citrix administration experience and foundational knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, policies, profiles, networking, and hypervisors are recommended.
Course Description:
This five-day instructor-led course combines advanced Citrix enterprise deployment with monitoring and troubleshooting. Students work with scalability, redundancy, multi-location design, disaster recovery, Workspace Environment Management, App Layering, Citrix Director, session recording, uberAgent, and practical troubleshooting workflows.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, students will:
- Implement backups, disaster recovery, scalability, and redundancy for Citrix sites.
- Manage multi-location environments, App Layering, and advanced workload configurations.
- Deploy and optimize Workspace Environment Management and migrate to WEM service.
- Use Citrix Director, session recording, and uberAgent for advanced monitoring.
- Analyze architecture and communication flows to locate common failure points.
- Troubleshoot access, Delivery Controller, VDA registration, and HDX connection issues.
